Project Name: Income Enhancement Technical Assistance for Disadvantage Santal Peoples Project.

 

Introduction:
In Bangladesh There


Goal:
To increase income by providing additional technical assistance to the families of the poor and poor Santal people through agricultural labor as well as alternative employment.

Detailed Goal:
By providing income-enhancing technical assistance to the poor and ultra-poor Santal people, so that they can create alternative employment in mobile servicing, welding, electricians, tiles fittings masters and masonry and create employment opportunities for families in addition to farm labor.

During this project period ASSEDO-BNF project distributed fruit tree among the 100 family. Tanore Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Md. Shofiqul Islam present in the distribution ceremony.
During this project period ASSEDO-BNF project also three thousand Tal (Palm) Seed sowing in Malipukur beside road side for environment.

 

 

Expected result of the project:

  • There will be employment for mobile service personnel with the help of training of 8 youths. It will help to increase the family income and raise their head in the society.
  • The welding will enable the 8 youths to earn income through welding work which will be helpful to increase the income of their families.
  • There will be employment for an electrician with the help of 8 young men. It will help to increase the family income and raise their head in the society.
  • Tiles Fittings Mistress will be provided employment training with the training of 10 youths. It will help to increase the family income and raise their head in the society.
  • There will be employment arrangements for the mason training of 15 young men and women with the help of training. It will help to increase the family income and raise their head in the society.
  • The Santal people will return to the mainstream through technical work.
  • The source of nutrients will be made available by planting native fruits.
  • By planting Palm seeds, the people of this region will be protected from thunderstorms and will play an important role in adaptation to climate change.
